  • Password (hashed)

  • Sign-in via Google or Apple (as applicable)

Voice Data

  • Voice recordings you submit to create cloned voices

  • Cloned voice data generated from your recordings

  • Voice data is linked to your account and stored securely

Usage Data

  • Device information, IP address, app version

  • Firebase analytics (anonymous usage and behavior data)

Push Notification Data

  • App events that trigger push notifications:

    • Voice cloning complete

    • Audiobook generated using a custom voice

    • New story releases

 

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To create and maintain your account

  • To generate voice-cloned narrations from your recordings

  • To let you access, manage, and play audiobooks in your voice

  • To send relevant push notifications (opt-in)

  • To improve the app experience using aggregate analytics

 

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

  • We do not share your personal data or voice data with third parties for advertising or marketing.

  • We currently do not use external third-party processors for voice cloning.

  • If this changes, we will update this policy and request explicit user consent.

 

4. Children’s Privacy

  • My Parrot is designed for use by adults (parents/guardians) on behalf of children.

  • We do not knowingly collect any personal data directly from children.

  • Parents remain fully responsible for any child-directed use of the app.

 

5. Data Storage & Security

  • All voice recordings and user data are stored on encrypted, secure servers.

  • Passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext.

  • We follow GDPR-compliant practices for data storage and access.

 

6. Data Retention & Deletion

  • If you delete your account, all associated data—including cloned voices—is permanently deleted.
